Hello again. It’s been a good, long while.
Readers gifted with a strong memory will recall that when this blog was active, it sometimes made reference to (or even shared pieces of) a book I was writing on the Sandy Hook shooting, and what I had learned about the causes of the event over the years. The title of that story is The Sheltered Storm: the True Story of the Man-made Disaster That Struck the Village of Sandy Hook, Connecticut on December 12, 2012. I’m proud to announce that you’ll be able to read it very soon, for free, at shelteredstorm.com.
I will be publishing the entire story online, serially, with new chapters on Mondays and Thursdays, starting October 10th, 2019. I hope you’ll join me to read it; if you would like to keep up-to-date with the story, follow @sheltered_storm on twitter, or just check shelteredstorm.com regularly.
There will not be any further updates to Sandy Hook Lighthouse, which has already been dormant for some time. It was a difficult, and at times deeply flawed project, but one I tried hard to keep informative and useful, even in some small way. Thank you for reading.
